With the help of the Koreans a new embankment is being built along the Mekong. They've already finished the area downtown near Chao Anou park and now they're working their way both east and west.

This will directly effect us. There will soon be a road between our house and the river. We can hear the distant rumble of stones being dumped nearby. They work seven days a week from dawn til dusk - and they're heading our way.
