Outside the wat there are lovely parting gifts for the three novitiates.

A four poster bed with a blanket and pillows, a fluorescent light strip, an electric rice cooker, a tray carrying plates bowls, chopsticks, and packets of snack food.

There are also candles, an orange bucket filled with soap and cleaning supplies, and lots of orange colored flowers and decorations.

Near every wat there are shops that sell all these necessities.
