... otherwise known as the dengue mosquito. JoJo and I contracted dengue fever on our trip to Vietnam in January. Between the two of us we had all the symptoms: body rash, fever, listlessness, aching muscles and joints.

It laid us up for about a week. Although dengue has been around in the tropics for centuries, it's become more prevalent in recent decades. In rare, hemorrhagic cases it'll kill you. But most bouts aren't that severe.
