Michael Tucker and I have been throwing a pizza party at his house almost every summer since 2003. We make dough enough for a thousand but only about 40 people show up, which is good because Michael's wife Jill Eikenbery, who does the lion's share of hosting and cleaning up, would murder us both if there were more.

And we learn something new every year. For example, this year we learned that the automated late-night garden watering system should be turned off before seating guests above the sprinklers. But it was a hot night and it turned out to be a rather pleasant surprise for those involved. And the pizzas were sublime, if I do say so myself.
