Every year, from spring through fall, villages all over Italy throw a party and invite the rest of the world to join them. It's a celebration of food and life and it's called a sagra. They go on for a week or two.

The menu for each sagra centers around one particular food. These posters point the way to sagras of oca (goose), lumaca (snail) and cipolla (onion). Our village hosts a wild asparagus sagra in April which kicks off the annual sagra season in this area.

There's not only food, there's music, dancing and games as well. They're a lot of fun.
