With suspensions that have long ago suspended service and windows that neither open nor close properly, the idea of riding in a '48 Chevy is better than the reality - at least when it comes to comfort.

The only original part of these 'Yankee Tanks' is the chassis - everything else has been replaced. Some are in fairly good condition while others seem held together only with coat-hangers and gaffer's tape.
