Our house, which we call Casa Libertà, is a small stone cottage that dates back to the 14th century. It is located in Eggi, a castle village about 4 km outside Spoleto, Italy -- in the province of Perugia and the region of Umbria. The medieval castle wall of Eggi, with its tower, forms the border of our backyard.

We have lovingly restored our house over the past 20 years, using chestnut beams for the ceilings and hand-made Umbrian bricks for the floors.

Casa Libertà is now available for rent on a long- term basis only.
