In Buenos Aires there are cafes, bars, and cafe-bars, some dating back to the late 19th century. (The dust on the bottles goes back that far as well.) It's the place where porteños (residents of Buenos Aires) meet, drink, eat, talk and just plain hang-out.

For a few bucks you can get beer or wine along with a sandwich, pizza, empanadas, milanesas, or a plate of picados - a selection of cold cuts, cheese, olives and various other finger foods. And you can take all afternoon and evening to finish your meal. It's JoJo's kind of place.
